We learnt to knit far too many years ago now, way back in the 1970s: taught by our lovely Nan, Grace, who had a thriving little shop, just off Lewisham High Street, London, SE13. She had intended to make her fortune with knitted baby & children’s clothes… but in reality ended up making most of her profits with knitted rasta-hats & spending most of her working day drinking tea & nattering with the guys that came in to order them! At one point, if you saw anyone wearing a rasta-hat in Lewisham or the surrounding areas: you can bet your bottom dollar it was knitted by our Nan!
Over the years, many “hobbies” have been had, including cross stitch, jewellery making etc - but the knitting always took priority & now’s the time to “share” that with you. We have a wide range of skills & our items are ALL totally unique, as we do tend to “make it up as we go along” (unless you want to order identical goods!)
We do keep some stock available to buy straight away, or we can “knit-to-order” for you.
