Wonderful Whimsicals

Hello I’m Emma-Jane, mum to two boys and two girls and animal lover but particular penchant for huskies as I have a lovely breeding pair and two of their puppies My working life before Wonderful Whimsicals was mainly as senior admin and accounts for law firms, but I have also worked in admin for social services and a gun scope manufactoring firm.

I became self employed after my children started experiencing various medical problems and due to constant physio, hospital and doctors appointments it became unfeasible to work full time outside of the home. However, sitting on my laurels has never been my personality and I have always had one or more crafts on the go liking to keep my free time filled with that and horse riding and dog walking when I wasn’t working full time. I have tried a whole host of adrenalin activities from rock climbing, abseiling, paragliding and toboganning and hope to do a tandem parashute jump before I’m 40 ! Despite us all having hypermobility syndrome and also suffering from raynauds, regional chronic pain syndrome and pervasive developmental disorder between the children, we are above all a family who does….and will not let life pass us by…..usually the first to hit the beach with the dogs and enjoy the surf and sun even though we might need longer to recover than most !

I have always made a plethora of crafts which stretches back to my childhood and my parents attempts to keep me busy with one kit after another ! I love horse riding, beach and woodland walks and playing classical piano pieces. I am extremely lucky that all my children love arts and crafts and play musical instruments too….like a modern day Von Trapp family Comes in really handy when I have huge orders to fill in a short time span to have an army of little fairies to help me put parcels together ! They love coming to craft fairs too as many of you have seen them about and they are already skilled sellers

My stall will be ever changing because I have so many crafts to showcase but on offer today are papercuts, cute fabric elephants and dragons and little fairy picture accessories. They are all able to be personalised with your favourite colours so please feel free to enquire so I can supply exactly what you require. I am going to try to make sure there is always something affordable for everyone’s pockets on the stall too Coming soon will be keyrings, prints, crochet and knitted items, cross stitch pictures and cards, origami cards, name places and flowers, paintings, drawings and also a few Gisella Graham products xxx
