While predominantly focusing of the japanese art of of Kumihimo, you will also find a selection of snake chain jewellery and bangles available at times. I love kumihimo braiding and have now developed a passion for beaded kumihimo.

Hi my name is Shelly and I began crafting for my friends and family Christmas and birthday Presents. I enjoyed it so much I decided to try and sell the items I love to make. I love making cushions, bunting, baskets, wash bags , tote bags, hanging hearts, personalised gifts and anything cute! I am a stay at home mum with four children and opened my first Facebook page in August 2013 and am enjoying making gifts for people who love and appreciate handmade items. I went travelling for 3.5 years with my now-husband, and met some brilliant people, one of whom in particular inspired me to get creative, and since then I haven’t been able to stop making jewellery!

I love working with glass, acrylic, plastic and pearl beads and silver-plated and gold-plated charms, and I find inspiration at the most unexpected times!

My business name was inspired by my craft (making jewellery) and the nickname my husband gave me when we met (Wellsy - I used to be Miss Wells!)… hence Jewellsy was born!

My love of beautiful beads and the infinite variety and choice available inspires me to create new and unique jewellery, and I hope you like what you see.

Handmade Cards, Event Stationary and Gifts with a Personal Touch

Dollypoppets Cards, Gifts and Stationery are created from original hand-drawn designs, printed and finished with extra sparkle. All Dollypoppet items are hand-made by Em aka Dolly Poppet in my home office (nick-named ‘the Cafe’ by my children) in the Pennines.
Gifts and cards usually start life as ideas for friends or my own children (2 boys and a baby girl) - I have high standards for myself as I wouldn’t give something to a friend I wouldn’t be prepared to pay money for in a shop. Where possible Dollypoppets items are made using recycled, upcycled or renewable recsources and packaged with the same ethos.

Many items are customisable to make your card or gift extra special - if you can’t see exactly what you want just send me a message and I can sort something out. I hope you enjoy looking around the site - who knows you might just find something that brings a smile to your face.
