Peppermint Purple started out as a bit of a hobby. I was working in a very technical environment, and wanted something to get me away from the daily grind and to relax away from a monitor !
Having stumbled on some paint which, once cured, was dishwasher proof, I started painting glasses. Personalising items, and creating sets became an enjoyable hobby.
I then decided to try making jewellery. I took a one day Silversmith course, and oh boy, I was hooked. I immediately booked more courses, and after completing them applied for my Hallmark with the London Assay office.
I love the idea of things being personalised, and I especially love giving personalised gifts, so naturally I then started to look for ways to personalise jewellery. I started stamping initials and words onto (primarily) silver, and have now extended the range to include having your own children’s writing, drawings, handprints, fingerprints, dog paw prints, signatures etc stamped into the silver (having first made a unique stamp based on your provided artwork). I now have, to my husbands delight, have a complete silversmith studio in our bedroom !!
I take a huge amount of pride in Peppermint Purple, which is reflected in the care I take when creating and packing your item, so you can be assured that any gifts you buy will not only be lovely in themselves, but the packaging itself will make the receiver feel cherished.
